This table is built from reclaimed staves used in the nearby wine country to infuse the grapes with the traditional flavor notes of an oak wine barrel. In an intentional departure from a traditional aesthetic we added a brass accent to the table to give it a more modern look.
Falling in line with our obsession with using natural processes to bring the most of of our material, this oak wood has absolutely incredible color. Most pieces arrive at our shop with a deep red tint leftover from the grapes during the infusion process. During the milling process the purple and red disappear and we're left with deep mocha browns and mellow gold shades.
The "Tempest" design features our house blended gray stain against the natural golds and blondes of the western redwood.
